Cool Water: Laird Hamilton Gives Birth at Photo Shoot

1/28/2007

BISCARROSSE, FRANCE – Reports from various sources indicate that legendary surfer Laird Hamilton gave birth on set during a recent photo shoot for Davidoff’s Cool Water Cologne ad campaign; an unprecedented revelation that’s sending shock waves throughout the surfing industry.

The photo shoot required Mr. Hamilton to sprint through the surf, board in hand, and was told to be as manly as possible as he charged, running through the shorepound.

“He was just busting out of his trunk seams with manliness. I mean full on saddle me-up-cowboy manliness, running through the surf,” photographer Cynthia Swallows said. “But out pops this baby! He didn’t even notice until some of the crew had to stop him from running because he was just so into it. He was dragging the baby through the sandy water. What a shocker!”

Onlooking fans stood with mouths agape and thirteen year old French girls wept.

“I personally think he reached the supreme end—the limit—of his Manliness. Like he was almost too manly. Life’s a circle right? Guess he just crossed a line no one’s ever crossed before,” Cool Water Busty Barnes said.

Mr. Hamilton was not immediately available for comment.
